Downstairs there are two sitting rooms for the use of visitors :
The lounge at the back is the Television room and has sage green walls with matching carpet. There is a 1930’s early Ercol suite in a tapestry fabric of brightly coloured flowers and foliage toning well with the walls and carpet. There are two rose coloured button-backed chairs as well. Other furnishings include an Edwardian mahogany chiffonier with a fine mirror attached. There are French windows in this room which open on to the patio behind the house and a huge brick fire-place that is very much in use in the Autumn, Winter and Spring when we have roaring log fires going. Because the French windows face west we sometimes see very beautiful sunsets.
