The front sitting room is often flooded by morning sunlight through the large bay window and is therefore known as the morning room. The heavy Edwardian suite has floral loose covers to tone in with the deep rusty pink walls, and there is a white cast iron Victorian bedroom fireplace in which fires burn in the cooler seasons. It is in this room that there are books and leaflets with information about the area, walk books and maps, and all may be borrowed by guests during their stay .
